Little III Championship โ€” Amherst (42) finished second behind Williams (25), Saturday in Middletown, Connecticut.

Amherstโ€™s Mohamed Hussein was second in 25:13.50 on the 8-kilometer course.

Connecticut College Invitational โ€” Ryan Stender (Amherst) placed third overall in 24:48.6 on the 8-kilometer course to pace Brandeis Saturday.

Connor Evans (Amherst) was 15th for Middlebury.

Womenโ€™s cross country

Little III Championship โ€” Amherst finished second (52) behind Williams (19), Saturday in Middletown, Connecticut.

Katherine Treanor was second for Amherst in 18:33.40 on the 5-kilometer course.

Sisters Championship โ€” Smith finished fourth (90) and Mount Holyoke was seventh (187), Sunday at Wellesley.

Katherine Stephens placed first in 22:31.2 on the 6-kilometer course for Smith.

Corrin Moss was 38th (24:41.3) for Mount Holyoke.

Sara Vannah (Amherst) was sixth for first-place Wellesley (42).

Womenโ€™s golf

NYU Invitational โ€” Jessica Jeong (78-79โ€”157) finished second by one stroke as Amherst was second (653), Sunday at Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, New Jersey.

Susan Lee (81-80โ€”161) tied for sixth for third-place Mount Holyoke (664).
