Dillon Pooler’s goal on an assist from Matt Babyak netted the Hampshire Regional boys soccer team a win and a league championship.
Pooler scored the only goal in a 1-0 road win that clinched the Holley League title for the Raiders (12-1-1, 7-0 Holley) on Tuesday.
Mike McColgan made four saves in net for Hampshire.
Easthampton 2, Smith Academy 1 — Daylon Kongo’s goals in the 75th and 77th minute helped the Rams win at home.
Kongo’s first goal came on a penalty kick after he was taken down dribbling into the penalty box. Joe Desormier assisted on Kongo’s game-winner.
Doug L’Abbee made two saves for Granby (14-2, 6-1 McGrath South).
Matt Bouley scored in the first half for Smith Academy (5-11-1, 1-6).
Jack Hession made seven saves for the Falcons.
Northampton 2, Holyoke 1 — A diving, one-handed save by Ian Hutchins with 30 seconds left helped the Blue Devils qualify for the playoffs at home.
Junior Yunga and Nick Heafey scored for Northampton (6-7-4, 4-1-3 Moriarty).
The Blue Devils qualified by clinching second place in the league.
Frontier Regional 3, Sabis 1 — A pair of second-half goals by Dan Bronke and Zach Hamilton turned a 1-1 tie into a road victory for the Red Hawks (9-3-3, 7-0-1 Schmid).
Ethan LaFleur assisted on Hamilton’s goal and also scored in the first half for Frontier.
In net, Peter Bronke made four saves.
Hopkins Academy 2, Easthampton 0 — The Golden Hawks eliminated the Eagles from playoff contention in Hadley.
Dougie Pierce and Brandon Munson scored for Hopkins (7-8-2, 3-2-2 Schmid) with Vance Canella and Nathan Kelley assisting.
Adam Yahman made two saves in the shutout.
Drew Caires made nine saves for the Eagles (4-11-2, 2-6)
Monson 6, South Hadley 1 — David Adams scored in the 33rd minute but the Tigers lost at home.
Colin Mitchell assisted on Adams’ goal. Nehemiah Wilson made 12 saves for South Hadley (1-13-2).
Monument Mountain 1 Belchertown 0 — The Orioles were shut out on the road.
Tanner Clark made six saves for the Belchertown (10-6-1).
Frontier Regional 3, Minnechaug 2 — The Red Hawks’ Selayna Bathurst had 20 kills and 11 digs in the 25-20, 19-25, 14-25, 25-23, 15-13 road win.
Ella Deane had 43 assists for the Red Hawks (6-12, 2-5 Eastern). Lauren Davenport had 13 kills.
