EASTHAMPTON – For the second time this week, the Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad were sent to Easthampton High School to investigate a possible threat. 

On Wednesday morning, a staff member found a note mentioning a bomb, according to Easthampton Police who received the call at 7:39 a.m. Students were evacuated as police and the bomb squad searched the building.

No dangerous devices were found and students were able to reenter the school at 8:35 a.m., according to police.

The first threat was reported Monday afternoon when a janitor was cleaning the restrooms after school hours and noticed a note mentioning a bomb. The state police bomb squad searched the area, but found no device.

Police said the school resource officer is investigating the threats.
