The Williston girls cross country team placed seventh out of 15 teams with 216 points at the NEPSTA Division 2 championship, Saturday in Marion.
Abigail Touhey (Florence) was 30th in 20:29 for the Wildcats. Natalie Aquadro (Northampton) was 38th in 20:58 and Claire Harrison (Conway) was 44th (21:13).
South Hadleyโs Maya Soley (51st, 21:26), Granbyโs Anna Richardson (53rd, 21:31), Southamptonโs Chloe Prouty (56th, 21:44) and Williamsburgโs Emma Gould (60th, 22:02) also competed.
NEPSTA Division 2 championship โ Nick Hill was eighth, Billy Ashenden 17th and Tyler Ashenden 19th as Williston placed fifth Saturday in Marion.
Brunswick 52, Williston 12 โ Quarterback Ian Ostberg (Florence) threw for 244 yards and two touchdowns but the visiting Wildcats (1-7, 1-6 Erickson) dropped their season finale Saturday.
Receiver Austin Ryan had six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown, while Nate Balthazard had four catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Alex Gold led the way with 10 tackles. Elijah Hutchinson forced two fumbles.
