Sunday morning brought several inches of snow to the Hilltowns.
The National Weather Service reported 5.1 inches in Hawley, 2.2 inches in Worthington, 2 inches in Plainfield and 3.1 inches in Chester. Further west into the Berkshires, Lenox had 9.7 inches, 9 inches in Savoy and 8 inches in Hinsdale, according NWS Boston meteorologist William Babcock.
As of 8 p.m. Sunday, Eversource Energy had no outages reported in the area.
For Thanksgiving, the day could be cold and wet for Hampshire County.
NWS reports a chance of rain showers, freezing rain, snow showers and sheet for Thursday.
“It will be cold for the first part of the week … 35 to 40 (degrees) in the Northampton area,” Babcock said. “By Thanksgiving temperatures in most of Massachusetts will be in the 40s.”
On Friday and through Saturday, Babcock said temperatures will warm up to the upper 40s.
