SOUTH HADLEY — Fire crews responded to an apartment complex at 43 Hadley Village Road just after 4 p.m. Tuesday responding to reports of a basement fire.
The fire was extinguished shortly after crews arrived. A South Hadley Fire District 1 spokesman did not immediately have information on possible injuries.
The spokesman said approximately three units were affected and that there was smoke damage.
