Frontier opened the season with four straight wins before injuries set in. Itโ€™s lost three straight and 4 of 5. Frontier holds a 44-32-6 edge in the series that started in 1933.

Northampton at Easthampton

The Eagles (4-6) host the Blue Devils (7-3) for the first time in this young holiday series. Northampton rolled last season, 44-6, in the first ever matchup between the two neighboring towns. The Eagles will need to control Hampโ€™s running game, which is led by Elijah Davis (1,246 yards, 14 touchdowns). The Eagles have a balanced rushing attack with Camden Kelly (466 yards, six TDs) and Nick Tausendfreund (457 yards, three TDs).

Belchertown at Pathfinder

The Orioles (4-5) and Pioneers (2-7) meet for the 16th time with Belchertown aiming to pull even in the series. Pathfinder has won four straight, including the last two by shutout, in the series and has outscored the Oโ€™s 79-14 during that stretch. Belchertown seniors Jackson Leduc (660 yards passing, six TDs) and Cam Cass (819 yards rushing, 12 TDs) will look to end their careers on a high note.

Minnechaug at Amherst Regional

The Falcons (3-7) and Hurricanes (4-6) meet for the second time in the second edition of the turkey day series. Amherst holds an 8-7 lead in the series that started in 1991, ended in 2004, then resumed in 2015. Minnechaug won 32-6 last season. Amherst has lost two straight since winning 3 out of 4 at midseason. QB Cole Modestow has thrown for over 1,000 yards and 13 TDs for the Falcons.

South Hadley at Chicopee Comp

Thursday, 10:30 a.m.

Last year, Comp was 8-2 and heading to a Super Bowl. The Colts didnโ€™t play their starters and the Tigers won, 56-14, snapping a three-game losing streak in the series. This year, the Colts are 8-2, but they were upset in the playoffs. The Tigers (6-4) should have their hands full as they look to extend their 11-5 series lead. Sean Oโ€™Grady has rushed for 787 yards and seven TDs for South Hadley.
