AMHERST — Four residents will be considered to fill a vacancy on the Jones Library Board of Trustees.
The Select Board and the remaining five trustees for the library will make the decision at a joint meeting beginning at 6 p.m. Monday at Town Room at Town Hall.
The vacancy was created when Michael Wolff died in November. The person selected will be in the position until next March’s town elections.
The candidates are Kitty Axelson-Berry, 89 Stony Hill Road, president of Modern Memoirs Publishing, Inc.; Terry Johnson, 15 Teaberry Lane, a retired teacher; Alex Lefebvre, 52 North Prospect St., a retired account executive for an insurance intermediary; and Nikki Lloyd-Kimbrel, 35 Triangle St., a freelance editor, writer and researcher.
This marks the second vacancy on the board this fall. In September, a joint vote decided Lee Edwards would fill a vacancy caused by the resignation of Jonathan McCabe. Edwards was chosen over Axelson-Berry.
