The South Hadley girls basketball team raced out of the gate and never looked back, cruising past Easthampton on the road, 59-15, Friday.

Mia Kelly led the undefeated Tigers (4-0) with 15 points and Sophie Gatzounas added 14, including 12 in the first quarter.

South Hadley led 41-3 at halftime.

Andie Hall led the Eagles (3-1) with five points.

Central 80, Belchertown 31 — The Golden Eagles (2-0) speed was too much as they pressed and ran the Orioles (5-1) out of Springfield.

Kayla Henry had 17 points, while Madison Duffy added six on two 3-pointers for the O’s.

Monson 55, Amherst Regional 27 — Erin Klaes had 10 points and Karta Khalsa added nine but the Hurricanes (1-4) fell on the road.

McCann Tech 40, Smith Academy 27 — Olivia Cavanaugh had 14 points with four 3-pointers but the Falcons (2-2) fell on the road.

Boys basketball

McCann Tech 53, Gateway Regional 46 — Brett Turbin scored 17 points and Shane Mastello added 14 but the Gators (2-2) fell at home.

Granby 68, St. Joseph 51 — Zach Gorham had 18 points and Joe Desormier added 17 as the Rams (2-2) beat the Crusaders (1-5) for the second time in the last three games.
