Two second-period goals helped the Belchertown ice hockey team edge Easthampton 2-1 Wednesday at Lossone Rink in Easthampton.
Vaughn Gillen and Cam Cass scored for the Orioles (2-3).
The Eagles (1-4) got a goal from Jake Batchelder in the third period with Nick Skowronek and Jake Delisle assisting.
Kyle Greene made 21 saves in net for the Orioles, while Nate Barnes made 29 saves for the Eagles.
Northampton 51, Minnechaug 49 — Kieran Thurston hit seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 23 points in the Blue Devils’ comeback win on the road.
Hamp went into the fourth quarter down six points.
Two free throws from Henry Doherty gave Hamp a late lead and a steal from Andy Grygorcewicz closed out the Falcons.
Doherty had 11 points for the Blue Devils (4-2).
Smith Voke 44, Franklin Tech 41 — Sydney Cyr’s 3-point shooting helped the Vikings come back and win on the road.
Cyr hit two late 3-pointers in the fourth quarter for Smith Voke (4-2).
Stephanie Start led the team with 17 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
Shannon Ryan just missed a triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
Turners Falls 49, Frontier 38 — Ella Deane scored 11 points but the Red Hawks lost at home.
Deane connected on three 3-pointers for Frontier (1-2).
Archbishop Williams 51, Hampshire Regional 39 — Katy O’Connor scored 17 points for the Raiders (3-2) in a road loss in Somerville.
Archbishop Williams led throughout.
Easthampton 52, John Duggan Academy 43 — The Eagles had four players in double figures in the road win.
Lily Pioli led Easthampton with 17 points.
Karina Volpe had 11 points while Juli Korza and Andie Hall both had 10.
