On Jan. 10, Hadley residents will be asked to vote to affirm several decisions made at fall Town Meeting.
Many numbers have been mentioned, but I am writing to remind voters that the increase to their annual taxes from a “yes” vote to build a new senior center will be less than $48, not the $114 mentioned on the recently mailed yellow sheet. The difference is because the town is in the process of retiring large amounts of bonded debt.
