Just a week after teammate Jake Balderston recorded his 100th career point, Nathan Masteralexis followed with his 100th point in a 6-1 win over Greenfield at Orr Rink in Amherst on Monday.
Balderston (two goals) assisted on the goal that gave Masteralexis 100 points.
“We have a lot of chemistry on the ice,” said Masteralexis, who had two goals and one assist. “We have a lot of chemistry on the ice. I love playing with him.”
Jarrett Tripp and Matt Longto also scored, while Nick Foster (two), Max Hopley and Jake Riel had assists.
The Hurricanes (4-2-1) have won three straight.
“We have a lot of youth but we have strong leadership,” Masteralexis said. “We have new players that can help us down the stretch.”
Clayton Bowser had 12 saves in the win.
Smith Academy’s Finn O’Connor had 25 saves for Greenfield.
South Hadley 6, Belchertown 0 — The Tigers shut out the Orioles in South Hadley.
Ben Watkins scored a hat trick and added an assist for the Tigers (4-2-1, 4-0-1 Fay Wright).
Alex Joao (assist), Sean Doherty and Will Hunter also scored.
Kyle Greene made 32 saves for Belchertown (3-5, 3-4).
