Diemand Farm in Wendell had a surplus of turkeys this holiday season, and, so, it is raffling off a frozen bird every Monday through Feb. 20.

To enter the free drawing, visit Diemand Farm Store at 126 Mormon Hollow Road and fill out a raffle slip with your name and phone number. Winners will be called during business hours every Monday and must pick up their turkeys at the farm store.
The 21st annual Chili Cook Off, sponsored by the Friends of the Charlemont Fairgrounds, takes place Jan. 29, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at The “Eagles” 52 State St., Shelburne Falls.
Those entering the contest must arrive by 3:30 p.m. and bring a minimum of two gallons of chili in an electric crock pot. They get to sample the competition for free.
