NORTHAMPTON — Eric Lacoste, a Granby man who was indicted by a grand jury in December on child porn charges, pleaded not guilty during his superior court arraignment on Friday afternoon.
Lacoste, 34, who will remain held without bail for now, was arrested in September at his Darrel Avenue home after authorities said an investigation traced child pornography activity on his computer’s IP address. On Friday, he pleaded not guilty in Hampshire Superior Court to four counts of posing or exhibiting a child in a state of nudity or sexual conduct, four counts of enticement of a child younger than 16, and one count of possession of child pornography.
Previously, Lacoste was convicted in 2014 on similar charges, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office. He’s due back in court Feb. 9.
