Make it eight wins in a row for the Williston Northampton boys basketball team after the Wildcats defeated Hotchkiss 59-40 on Saturday.

Spencer Danforth scored 17 points and held Hotchkiss’ leading scorer to just three points.

Duncan LeXander hit three 3s and threw down a dunk to score 13 points. Mike Mahoney added 11 points for Williston (10-4).

Girls basketball

MacDuffie 45, Winchendon 13 — Florence Tshimanga scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a home win. Jocelyn St. Onge added 12 points, and Ryleigh Cauley scored eight for the Mustangs (3-10).

Girls hockey

Williston 4, Hotchkiss 0 — Maura Holden scored twice, while Taylor Palumbo and Gabby Jones also found the net in a home win Saturday.

Boys hockey

Williston 1, Brunswick 0 — Kevin Lassman scored on the power play late in the third period Saturday to seal a win.

Xander Rogers picked up the shutout in net for the Wildcats (9-9).

Boys squash

Williston 5, Salisbury 2 — Easthampton’s Henry Poehlein picked up a win at the No. 2 position for the Wildcats on Saturday.

Girls squash

Canterbury 4, Williston 3 — Mika Sovjani, Alana Serafino and Easthampton’s Dylan Fulcher-Melendy all won matches in a loss Saturday.

Wrestling

Hotchkiss 45, Williston 24; Williston 54, Chase 18; Taft 47, Williston 30 — Max Livingston (195 pounds), Andikan Ntia-James (220) and Hunter Adams (145) went 3-0 to help the Wildcats move their record to 11-5.

Boys swimming

Kingswood-Oxford 108, Williston 68 — David Fitch broke the school record in the 200-yard individual medley by over a second.

Girls swimming

Williston 97, Kingswood-Oxford 67 — Natalie Aquadro won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races, while Sally Alrutz took first in the 50 free style and 100 breaststroke.

Gabriella Mercier took first in one-meter diving.
