Amherst Regional nordic skiers Luke Sedor Protti and Willy Wright qualified for the state nordic team on Sunday.
The duo raced in a qualifier at Western Ski Track in Weston. They raced a 4.3-kilometer classic course and a 4.3-kilometer skate/freestyle course.
The top 24 racers at the state qualifier were named to the Eastern High School team, while the top 22 skiers under 16 years old made the U16 state team.
Amherst’s Callie Pittman qualified as an alternate on the girls state U16 team.
