After a tight 2-1 overtime loss to Providence, Saturday in the final game of the regular season, the UMass hockey team will get another crack at the 10th-ranked Friars.

The 12th-seeded UMass will play No. 5 PC in a best-of-three Hockey East Tournament series beginning Friday. Game two is Saturday and game three is Sunday, if necessary. All three at 7 p.m. and at Providence.

The Friars (20-9-5, 12-7-3) swept the two-game series when Garrett Gamez beat Ryan Wischow (40 saves), 2 minutes, 16 seconds into overtime.
