NORTHAMPTON — A West Warren man was arraigned in Hampshire County Superior Court for allegedly committing a violent home invasion earlier this year.

Kyle Decell pleaded not guilty Thursday afternoon to charges of intimidation of a witness, home invasion, armed robbery while masked, armed assault in a dwelling, armed assault with intent to rob a person over 60 and assault by means of a dangerous weapon of a person over 60.

Decell was held without right to bail without prejudice, which lets his Northampton attorney, Korrina Burnham, bring that matter up at a later date.

According to multiple indictments, Decell broke into a Ware woman’s home on Jan. 4 armed with a knife, assaulted the woman, and stole jewelry, cash and other personal items.
