Northampton grad Emily Biggs scored three goals and added an assist, as Smith College beat Ohio Wesleyan 10-8 on Monday in Florida.

Caroline Myran also collected four points with a goal and three assists.

Chloe Harris, Natalie Schad and Bella Ferraro each found the net twice.

Harris and Raleigh Williams tied for the team lead with four ground balls each. Williams made eight saves in net.

Smith (3-1) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half and led 6-5 at halftime.

Softball

Becker 3, Smith 2; Salve Regina 15, Smith 6 — Ally Snyder hit a grand slam in the first inning against Salve Regina to become the Pioneers’ all-time leader in home runs with 16.
