EASTHAMPTON — Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles as the department investigates what they say was a “rash” of motor vehicle break-ins overnight Tuesday at the upper Loudville Road area.
“What we know is the suspect opened unlocked car doors, and quickly stole what was readily available like loose change,” the Easthampton Police Department wrote on Facebook Wednesday morning.
Similar reports have been made in the past. On March 24, there where two reports of motor vehicle break-ins off South Street where police noted loose change was stolen.
“With this we want to remind everyone to lock your vehicles, and if you see anything suspicious, call us immediately,” police said.
Police ask anyone with information regarding the break-ins on Loudville Road to contact Officer Jared Pabis at 413-527-1212 ext. 2093.
