Depth helped the Belchertown boys tennis team win its season opener, 3-2, against Minnechaug on Wednesday.
The Falcons won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but Noah Pare held off Rob Koziol 6-3, 6-1 for Belchertown (1-0) at No. 3 singles.
Dennis Lelic and Alec Morgado won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles against Logan Mitchell and Dash Garvey. Sean McCarthy and Mike Laughner defeated Billy Raffaele and Aidan McGovern 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
