Northampton’s Leila Kouakou scored four goals with an assist for the Mount Holyoke lacrosse team in a 11-6 win over Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday in New London, Conn.
Kaitlin Braz and Mary Lavigne each added two goals for the Lyons (2-10).
Mia Wysocki got the win in net, making four saves.
MIT 14, Smith College 10 — Chloe Harris scored five goals for the Pioneers (8-5) in the home loss.
Sarah Price made 21 saves in net.
UMass-Lowell 6, UMass 0 — The Minutemen (7-18) couldn’t get the offense going in the home loss.
Eddy Hart went 3-for-4 for UMass.
UMass pitching only gave up two earned runs, with Connor Donahue taking the loss with four strikeouts.
UMass 9, Rhode Island 5; UMass 5, Rhode Island 3 — Erin Stacevicz had three hits and a RBI in the game one win of a road double-header for the Minutewomen (17-17, 6-2 A-10)
In game two, Tara Klee had two hits and three RBIs.
Candace Denis won in the circle, with eight strikeouts.
Amherst 2, Smith College 1; Amherst 8, Smith College 0 (5) — The Mammoths (19-6) took two from the Pioneers behins the offense of Alena Marovitz (6-16) at home.
Annie McCluskley and Marovitz had RBIs in game one for the Mammoths. Elodie Townsend homered for the Pioneers.
Marovitz added a couple more RBIs in game while Gina Pagan took the win in he circle, striking out six.
