The Northampton boys lacrosse team stormed back from a six-goal deficit to beat Pope Francis, 9-8, in overtime at home on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils (3-1) overcame a 6-0 deficit.
Henry Attias’ fifth goal with 16 seconds left was the game-winner for Northampton.
Evan Moulton tied the game to send it to overtime, on an assist from Jared Fowler.
Ryan Heng made 11 saves for the Blue Devils (3-1).
Hamp’s defense killed a 3-minute penalty for an illegal stick and a two-man down situation for one minute.
Longmeadow 19, South Hadley 0 — Corey Calkins made four saves in a home loss for the Tigers (0-5).
Granby 14, Monson 1 — The Rams got four goals and four assists from Doug Labbee in a home win.
Drew Weisel chipped in with three goals and two assists.
Corey Hinkley, Collin Stearns (four assists) and Ryan Bachand each had two goals.
Brad Taft made five saves for Granby.
Pittsfield 14, Belchertown 10 — The Orioles couldn’t keep up with the Generals during the second half in the home loss.
Pittsfield led 7-6 at halftime.
Grant Irving scored four goals for Belchertown (0-3). Adam Wordsworth scored twice with four assists while Ray Langevin had three goals.
Aidan Lyons made nine saves for Belchertown (0-3).
Westfield 13, Amherst 5 — Jonathan Rodriguez made 17 saves for the Hurricanes, but the Bombers won at home.
Willy Wright had three goals while Aidan Bass scored twice for Amherst (1-2).
Granby 14, Pope Francis 10 — Jessica Patruno’s five goals led the Rams to a home win over the Cardinals.
Kate Sarnacki added four goals and an assist for Granby (1-2).
Jess Frappier and Madison Sexton both had a goal and an assist for the Rams.
