A career-high nine points for Holly Turner helped the UMass women’s lacrosse team beat George Washington 19-9 on Friday in Amherst.
Turner had three goals and six assists for the Minutewomen (12-3, 7-0 A-10). It was the Minutewomen’s 52nd consecutive league win.
Hannah Burrnett and Callie Santos added three goals each, while Kiley Anderson chipped in with three for UMass.
UMass 6, La Salle 2 — Ryan Lever had a hit and an RBI in a road win for the Minutemen (10-21, 4-6 A-10).
Justin Lasko won on the mound, pitching five innings with one earned run and eight strikeouts.
Hamilton 5, Amherst 4 — Max Steinhorn had a hit, an RBI and a run scored in a road loss for the Mammoths (10-11, 4-3 NESCAC).
