In a 20-12 road win over St. Mary’s, Drew Wiesel scored a career-high eight goals for the Granby boys lacrosse team Friday.

Wiesel scored seven goals in the first half, where the Rams pulled away and led 14-4 at the break.

Doug Labbee had eight assists for the Rams (3-3).

“The chemistry is great between Collin (Stearns), Doug (Labbee) and Drew (Wiesel),” Granby coach Joe Dennette said. “They are starting to play really well together.”

Labbee plays behind the net on offense, finding Wiesel’s left-handed shot as often as possible for the Rams.

Wiesel added two assists, while Stearns and Corey Hinkley both added three for Granby.

Belchertown 10, Monson 0 — Grant Irving had two goals and two assists, and the Orioles won on the rood.

Nate Pacheco and Ben Laliberte added two goals and two assists each, while Adam Wordsworth scored twice.

Owen Palmateer dished out two assists, while Ray Langevin found the net and Jaxon Royal had an assist.

Aidan Lyons stopped one shot for Belchertown (2-3, 2-1 Suburban), and TJ Englert made two saves.

Northampton 10, West Springfield 2 — The Blue Devils (6-1) won their sixth straight game at home.

Henry Attias led the offense with four goals and two assists.

Evan Moulton (two assists) and Tyler Allcroft both added two goals for Northampton.

In net, Ryan Heng made nine saves.

Longmeadow 14, Amherst 10 — The Lancers were too much for the Hurricanes on the road.

Willy Wright led Amherst(1-5) with six goals and an assists.

In net, Jonathan Rodriguez made 10 saves for Amherst.

Girls lacrosse

East Longmeadow 18, Amherst 1 — Malia MacDonald had the lone goal for the Hurricanes in a road loss to the Spartans.

Cleo Hein made nine saves while Taya Mathers added two for Amherst (1-5).

Longmeadow 18, Belchertown 0 — Emily Sayball-Wimmer made a save for the Orioles (0-5) in a road loss to the Lancers.

Baseball

Hoosac Valley 7, Gateway 1 — Brett Turban had an RBI single for the Gator in a loss in the Berkshires.

Both Jake McKittrick and Brett Bonenfant doubled for Gateway (1-5).
