Sunderland residents, a Proposition 2½ override is scheduled for the town election May 6. Voting will be held at the Sunderland Elementary School.
This override has been kept quiet by the local powers as publicizing support for 2½ overrides hasn’t worked well in the past.
While other Franklin County school districts choose to make necessary reductions, our option is to always raise taxes first and then threaten cuts to services. Or make cuts to garbage collection but not the major budget-busters.
Either way, please vote on May 6.
