We at the Northampton Survival Center were pleased to see the good press for Mi Tierra tortillas and its partnership with Winter Moon Farm highlighted in your April 24 article (“Freshly made and local Mi Tierra tortillas becoming a booming business”).
With weekly donations since last September, these two wonderful local companies have donated 4,000 pounds of tortillas to our food pantry. Just like so many of us in this community, our clients value food that is both healthy and delicious. They appreciate that Mi Tierra tortillas are made without preservatives and feature fresh local ingredients.
I am happy to have another reminder of how valuable it is to support local businesses which create jobs, boost the local economy, and care for our community through donations which spread the bounty of this region to all.
