The Hampshire Regional softball team’s bats came alive in a big way Tuesday.

The Raiders smashed five home runs en route to a 16-3 five-inning victory over Amherst Regional in Westhampton.

Katy O’Connor (2-for-3, three RBIs, three runs) had two homers — a solo homer in the first and a two-run shot in the fifth.

Danielle McGan (three RBIs, three runs) had a solo round-tripper, while Brie Bergeron (4-for-4, three RBIs, three runs) had a two-run blast during an 11-run third inning.

Seventh-grade catcher Katlyn Labrie had her first career hit in her first career varsity game. She laced a two-run single in the third.

Madison Philbrook capped the fireworks with a two-run walk-off over the 200-foot outfield fence for the Raiders (7-4).

Emily Halket struck out three and allowed seven hits and three earned runs in the win.

Emily Hu (run) and Megan Rice (two runs, RBI) each had two hits for Amherst (1-8). Mikah McNamara, Egeria Koehn-Cooper (RBI) and Ali Smith each had one hit.

Northampton 7, East Longmeadow 0 — Zoe Driscoll-Sbar went 2-for-3 and tallied her 100th career hit, a single in the fifth inning.

“It felt really awesome, like all the work I had put in finally paid off,” she said. “Ever since I saw Emilie Baldwin hit her 100th in my sophomore year I knew that was a goal I wanted to accomplish in high school ball.”

Driscoll-Sbar hit a double in her first at-bat to get to 99. She knew how close she was.

“I thought too much and stuck out,” she said of her second at-bat.

In the fifth she tried to not think about the milestone and just hit.

“It didn’t really click until I heard and saw my teammates screaming and shouting as they ran out onto the field,” she said.

Jill McGrath hit two home runs, including a grand slam in the sixth inning, to finish with five RBIs for the Blue Devils (11-2, 4-0 Valley Wheel).

Anna Kerwood got the win, striking out seven while allowing six hits and zero walks.

Belchertown 4, Holyoke 2 — Chloe Roux pitched seven innings, gave up three hits and two runs while striking out five for the win.

Emma LeBlanc had two hits and a run scored for Belchertown (2-10).

Samantha Mann added two hits, a run scored and an RBI.

Smith Academy 7, McCann Tech 6 (8) — Morgan Neal hit the game-winning walk-off single in the eighth for the Falcons.

Vanessa Skawski picked up the win in the circle.

Olivia Cavanaugh had two hits and two RBIs for Smith Academy (2-10).

Greenfield 9, Frontier Regional 2 — McKenzie Patterson had two hits, including a homer, for the Red Hawks in a road loss.

Sarah Meunier had a hit and an RBI for Frontier (4-6).
