I was happy to learn from a Gazette article (“Big Y invests over $13 million in Hampshire County stores,” May 8) that Big Y has spent a large sum of money for renovations in several stores in the Pioneer Valley.
I shop at the Northampton Big Y and will continue to do so. But my question is, “Why am I doing my grocery shopping in a liquor store?”
The center front of the alcohol aisles lead me to think that Big Y misses Table and Vine, not the sparsely shelved natural foods in the back.
