Noah Bleakley struck out 12, walked four and allowed no hits as the Granby baseball team beat Monson, 13-0, Saturday at home.

It’s the first no-hitter on the season for Bleakley, who came close on five other occasions. The senior threw a one-hitter against Palmer, and two-hitters against Drury, Tantasqua, Monson and Sabis.

Tom Rezzani (three runs, RBI) was 3-for-3, while Bleakley added two hits and an RBI for the Rams (13-5).

E.J. Wiley and Ben Rokowski each had two RBIs.

Northampton 13, Amherst 1 — Will O’Connor (three runs) was 3-for-4 with a solo homer, while Devin Kellogg (three RBIs, two runs) was 2-for-4 with a home run as the Blue Devils (13-4) rolled at home Saturday. Andy Grygorcewicz had two hits and two RBIs.

R.J. Safron finished 2-for-3 with five RBIs, two runs, a home run and a double to help his cause. He struck out eight, walked two and allowed three hits over five innings for the win.

Jake Balderston had two hits (double), while Trevor Edwards, Julian Burgoff and Luke Leonard (double) each had one for the Hurricanes (6-12).

Palmer 3, Smith Academy 1 — The Panthers (11-7) scored a run in the sixth and in the seventh to pull away in Hatfield on Saturday.

Jack Hession and Carter Woodward (RBI) each had one hit for the Falcons (7-9).

Colin Ferrara fanned three, walked three and allowed eight hits in the complete-game loss.

Softball

Frontier Regional 11, Mount Greylock 6 — Lauren Davenport struck out three and allowed four hits over seven innings for the win, Saturday.

McKenzie Patterson and Natalie Denkiewicz (two RBIs) each had four hits. Sarah Meunier had a two-run homer.

Boys lacrosse

Northampton 10, Brattleboro Union 6 — The Blue Devils earned a tight win on the road to improve to 11-6 on Saturday.

Hamp led 3-2 after the first quarter and 7-5 at halftime. The defense held the Colonels scoreless in the third and led 9-5 entering the final frame,

Keanan Bradley had three goals, while Henry Higgins (assist), Jameson Miller (assist) and Henry Attias each had two goals. Tyler Allcroft had one goal and two assists. Ryan Heng made 11 saves.
