The Northampton Post 28 American Legion baseball team got four innings of scoreless relief from Ian Ostberg in a 6-4 win over East Longmeadow on the road Monday.
Ostberg struck out eight for Post 28 (2-0) and picked up the win.
Zac Brittain had a double while Will O’Connor singled twice.
Northampton 6, Mohawk 1 — Orion McLain had two RBIs to lead Northampton, which scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning.
Dan White and Mike Baldwin each drove in runs and had two hits.
Nate Moggion and Jack Diggins had RBIs.
Jamie Berriors picked up the win, while Patrick Serio pitched three innings of relief and struck out three.
