EASTHAMPTON — Police are searching for the suspect of a break-in Monday morning at The Massage School at 1 Northampton St.
Police have identified the suspect as Casey Brown, of 105 Laurel Street, Apt. 4 B, in Lee. He is believed to have smashed in a cellar window to the school and taken receipts which may have partial credit card numbers, according to Officer Chad Alexander.
Police say Brown is believed to be driving a white 2014 Toyota Corolla with the license plate 5CSD30.
The Easthampton Police Department received a call about the break-in at 8 a.m. Monday. The Massage School’s security system was tripped by the motion of the intruder, and the system alerted the owner who watched the video surveillance from his home.
Officers surrounded the building and conducted a methodical search, but the suspect was no longer there, according to Easthampton Police. Police identified Brown as the suspect through its investigation.
Police ask that people contact their local police department if they know of Brown’s location and not to approach him.
