Stanley and Joan Pitchko of Hatfield recently marked their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 22, 1957, at St. John Cantius Church in Northampton.
The couple celebrated with their family: son Stanley, his wife, Patty, and daughter, Emily, of Hatfield; son James and his son, Logan, of Greenfield; daughter Diane and her daughter, Stephanie, from Clovis, California; daughter Marie and her husband, David, along with son Myles and wife, Kayla, son, Tyler, and daughter, Eryn, all from Pennsylvania; nephew Paul Romanowski and wife, Sue, of New York, and with friends Laurie OโHara and James Diggins of Greenfield, at the home of their grandson Nathan Pitchko and wife, Robin, and great grandson, Aidan, from Cummington.
All together they have 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren (with a fifth on the way).
Joan is retired from Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, where she was a secretary in the respiratory department with over 25 years of service.
Stanley was a manager with the former Consolidated Cigar in Glastonbury, Connecticut, and stayed with the company when they became CASCO, located in East Windsor, Connecticut, and finally Conley in Westfield before the company closed.
