Alexandra Chapman has been named to the spring semester president’s list at Husson University in Bangor, Maine.
Ella S. McDonald of Florence, class of 2019, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where she majors in environmental science. McDonald attended Northampton High School and is the daughter of Douglas and Deanna McDonald.
Madison N. Lacaprucia was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Alfred University in Alfred, New York. She is a senior in the school of art and design. A graduate of Northampton High School, Lacaprucia is the daughter of Constance Janik and Nelson Lacaprucia.
Rennie A. Silva, son of Robin Silva and the late Jeffrey Silva, has accepted a career appointment to the U.S. Foreign Service. He has been assigned as vice consul to U.S. Embassy Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He previously served as a presidential management fellow at the State Department and the Pentagon, and as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia. He is a graduate of Holyoke Community College, George Washington University, and University of Maryland, College Park.
Noelle Menard, class of 2017 and a business major, was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society in Business, Management, and Administration at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Aedean Cullen and Talula Patenaude were selected to attend the Massachusetts HOBY Leadership Seminar at Bentley University in Waltham.

Amelia Ekus, of New York City, has been named a 2017 Eater Young Gun by the culinary resource Eater, a website focusing on gastronomic happenings.
Ekus, a western Massachusetts native, grew up in the food industry. Her father, Lou Ekus, owned and operated the barbecue restaurant Holy Smokes, where Ekus worked as a teenager. Her mother Lisa Ekus runs The Lisa Ekus Group, a full service culinary agency for cookbook authors and chefs.
Zachary Wright was named to the spring semester president’s list at Castleton University in Castleton, Vermont.
Margaret S. White, class of 2020, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, where she is majoring in history. She attended Williston Northampton School and is the daughter of Thomas and Katherine White.
