I took the time Tuesday morning to read pages B2-B3 of the Daily Hampshire Gazette with great admiration.
The individuals lovingly described in these obituaries had many common themes. A social worker, nurse, teacher, volunteer, and all dedicated to helping people in some way. How proud all of the families must be. Lifetimes well spent.
I am glad I turned off the 24-hour news cycle of disturbing behavior of so-called leaders and read about true champions who walked among us.
