Urges investigation of drug lab scandal cases

Now that Attorney General Maura Healey’s investigators have concluded their work at Easthampton High School (“Attorney general faults handling of bias incidents,” Aug. 26-27), perhaps they can now review cases of those convicted on evidence generated by their discredited chemist Sonja Farak (“Justice slow to come in drug lab scandal,” Aug. 23).

It’s incomprehensible to me that a state that prides itself on its commitment to social justice could be so insensitive to the plight of individuals convicted on the basis of tainted evidence. Shame.
