Seeks creative solutions for weeds in Pulaski Park

Pulaski Park has been such a great thing for Northampton, but it has become overgrown with weeds in some places. How might we come up with creative solutions without simply increasing the budget?

Rockport has wonderful public gardens around the town library, fire station, the town square, the entrance to Millbrook Meadow Park, and other places — all maintained as a free service by the town garden club.

I know that a city of 25,000 will function differently than a town of 6,900. But might Rockport’s example be a springboard for Northampton to come up with solutions that work for us?
