BELCHERTOWN — No one was injured when a car drove into the Belchertown Post Office Monday afternoon, according to police.

Belchertown Police, Fire and EMS were called to the building on Main Street just after 1:20 p.m. for a report of a vehicle into the building.

The back of the post office sustained extensive damage from the car and the town’s building inspector was called to the scene to assess the structural damage, according to police.

The building’s front entrance remained open. The crash remains under investigation by the Belchertown Police.
