What a strange Orwellian world. This government thinks nothing of ripping families apart and exiling innocent children in the name of obeying the law, yet pardons a real criminal, Joe Arpaio, before he is even sentenced or serves a day in prison.
This president claims to be compassionate for those who faced disaster in Houston, but it is his party that has cut flood prevention and that denies the human causes of these severe storms.
And when armed racists march through the streets intending to instill fear among Jewish people, people of color, and people with non-mainstream sexuality, and when one of the racists attacks 19 people with a car and murders someone, President Donald Trump says there are good people on both sides even while removing protections for various minorities.
And we won’t even get started with taxes, election manipulations and all the rest of it. The arrogance and hypocrisy are almost as disturbing as the horrible policies.
Write and call your elected officials. Even the ones who agree with you. They need to hear from lots of us that this is just not OK.
