NORTHAMPTON — The driver of a car police said crossed the center line on Bridge Road and hit a truck was taken to the hospital for “precautionary measures.”

Northampton Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash just before 11:40 a.m. Monday. A car traveling west on Bridge crossed over the center line and struck a truck with a dump trailer, Capt. John Cartledge said.

The driver of the car was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital with no visible injuries, Cartledge said.

The 400 block of Bridge Road was down to one lane as crews worked to remove the vehicles from the scene of the crash.

There is no indication on what caused the crash.
