The Frontier Regional boys cross country team finished its second straight undefeated season Wednesday.
The Red Hawks swept Mohawk Trail and Hopkins Academy in Hadley. It was the second meet every on Hopkins’ 2.38-mile course at West Street Common.
Frontier beat Hopkins, 18-41, and Mohawk, 16-45, to clinch the Pioneer North championship. Hopkins beat Mohawk, 22-35.
Carsten Carey placed first in 13 minutes, 2 seconds to lead a Frontier (14-0, 8-0) sweep of the top four spots.
Ben Litskoski (13:02) was second followed by Alex Sharp (13:02) and Peter Carey (13:05).
Alex Locher (13:21) was sixth for the Golden Hawks (13-2, 7-1).
