We are very fortunate in Northampton to have a mayor like David Narkewicz.
His is a steady hand that runs this complex small city. He works collaboratively with the City Council, the School Committee and various other community groups and individual constituents.
As an educator and parent, I am especially grateful for his leadership in our public schools. He has made sound and reasonable decisions regarding the funding of the schools; he advocates both in our community and in our state for support; and he knows, as a parent, just how valuable it is to have a public school education.
He has great respect for our teachers and staff and looks to those in the schools for guidance in the increasingly challenging world our children must navigate.
As a school principal and a citizen of Northampton, I trust him completely. I urge you to join me in voting for David Narkewicz on Nov. 7.
