Over the term of his mayoralty, David Narkewicz has worked effectively and assiduously to improve the quality of life in Northampton for all of our citizens.
I’ve seen the results of his leadership as improvements have been made in our pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. This work benefits us all: those who walk or bike to work and other downtown destinations, tourists who come to our area to explore the rail trail network, and drivers who face less congestion because these car-alternatives are being used by more people.
Through the work of the City’s Office of Planning and Sustainability, Northampton has charted a path forward that will ensure a bright economic future. I credit Mayor Narkewicz for much of these accomplishments and will be voting for him Nov. 7 to allow him to continue this important work.
