Three players scored in double figure, and the Amherst College women’s basketball team beat Redlands 67-44 on Monday in Orange, California.
Hannah Fox led Amherst (11-0) with 17 points and swiped three steals.
Madeline Eck scored 13 points with six rebounds, while Jackie Nagle accumulated 10 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
Granby’s Meghan Sullivan scored six points in five minutes, hitting two 3s. Kate Sullivan, her younger sister, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out two assists.
The Mammoths held Redlands to 28.6 percent shooting and forced 20 turnovers. They scored 22 points off those turnovers and 34 points in the paint.
