Northampton’s Isaac Foster placed fourth in the boys giant slalom in the NEPSAC Class A Alpine Ski Championships on Wednesday with a two-run time of 93.61 seconds. The sophomore at Northfield Mt. Hermon also finished 12th in the slalom with a combined time of 66.57.

Gemma Borra Paley from Ashfield placed 10th in the girls giant slalom with a two-run time of 102.82. The senior at Northfield Mt. Hermon also was 23rd in the girls slalom with a combined time of 80.93.

With a two-run time of 95.85, Deerfield Academy’s JP Patton finished 10th in the boys giant slalom. The Whatley native also placed 14th in the slalom with a combined time of 67.10.

Taft 39, Williston 29 — Sarah Sullivan led the Wildcats with 13 points, while Jordyn Meunier added nine.

Boys basketball

Loomis Chaffee 69, Williston 65 — Mike Manley led the Wildcats with 20 points in a loss. Garrett Sullivan contributed 14 points, while Josh McGettigan added 12 and Filip Rebraca scored 10.

Boys squash

Williston 4, Pomfret 3 — Wins from Juniors Joey Robbins, Tyler Senecal of South Hadley, and Ethan Dursht contributed to the victory.

Girls ice hockey

Williston 4, Northfield Mount Hermon 0 — Bryn Saarela’s two goals paced the Wildcats. Christina Vote and Maddy Cardaci also contributed goals in the victory.

Boys Hockey

Williston 4, Canterbury 3 (OT) — Sam Milnes led the Wildcats with a hat trick, and netminder Greg Iverson turned aside 18 shots.
