NORTHAMPTON – An Amherst woman denied charges Thursday that she broke into an Amherst apartment and stole electronics last fall.
Eneysha G. Diaz pleaded not guilty in Hampshire Superior Court to charges of breaking and entering a building in the daytime, larceny over $250 and two counts of intimidation of a witness.
Diaz allegedly broke into an apartment on East Hadley Road on Sept. 19, 2017, and stole a television, XBox, Playstation 4 and video games, according to court documents. The intimidation of a witness charges relate to allegations that she directly misled two police officers.
She was released on conditions that she remain drug free, submit to random screenings and to stay away from the apartment. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 24. Diaz is being represented by attorney John Drake.
