Carolyn Lorber was initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.

Easthampton

U.S. Air Force Airman Ani L. Caron graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

She is a 2015 graduate of Easthampton High School.

Northampton

U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas W. Dubuque graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Dubuque is the son of Douglas Dubuque of Springfield, and Heather Arnold of Northampton.

He is a 2017 graduate of Northampton High School.

The Annual Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Northampton Parks & Recreation Department, Look Memorial Park, WalMart and the Florence VFW, was held March 31 at Look Park. Over a thousand kids aged 10 and under participated. Each age group had golden tickets hidden in the eggs. Here are the participants who found the lucky golden ticket eggs, listed by age.

2 and under: Tsering Wang-Mo of Florence, Madison Aldrich of Agawam, and Maddox Philips of Sunderland.

3 and 4: Ian Heffelfinger of Granby and Parker Snyder of Belchertown.

5 and 6: Seldon Sangmo of Easthampton and Eliza DeCaro of Florence.

7 and 8: Jeremiah Torrey of Easthampton and Aaliyah Parker of Springfield.

9 and 10: Liam Henson of South Deerfield and Mikey Aubrey of Easthampton.

South Deerfield

Maegen Killeen was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society in business, management and administration, at Emmanuel College in Boston.

South Hadley

Christopher Jarrett, class of 2019 majoring in electrical and computer engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research through the WPI project center in Costa Rica. The project was titled Solar Energy Guide. The goal of the project was to work with la Camara de Industria de Costa Rica to address high industrial energy prices by promoting photovoltaic systems for self- generation.

Holyoke Community College

The following local residents were inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Theta Kappa at the college in Holyoke:
