Coverage of the challenges faced by state Sen. Stanley Rosenberg of Amherst is quite disturbing to me.
You haven’t done anything wrong in your coverage. It’s just that I find myself quite moved by his dilemma in that he has been a good public servant to our area. I have had the opportunity to have had a private conversation regarding politics with the senator while a guest of Rep. John Scibak at his annual picnic. I found Rosenberg engaging and caring.
I have also reached out to him in the past while working for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and he was quick to respond.
We all have been fools of the heart at some stage in our lives. I know I have. I think we can all search for compassion in this situation and hope that somehow the senator is able to overcome all of this bad publicity and continue to serve his constituents in the same caring way.
I wish him nothing but the best in my gratitude.
