Saturday, May 5, is the town election and the Proposition 2½ override vote.
Please vote on May 5, whether you are for or against the override. Town elections themselves are typically one candidate only. The last override election vote had a 20 percent voter turnout.
In our increasingly individualistic society, voting is one of last remnants of civic and community participation.
