EASTHAMPTON — Emergency water repairs will shut down Pleasant Street to one lane and create a detour for the next several hours, as of 6 p.m. Thursday, according to the police.
Drivers attempting to reach Pleasant Street from the rotary on Main Street will be detoured via Northampton Street and O’Neill Street, police said.
Traffic on Pleasant Street approaching the rotary will be able to pass, and police said that will be the only lane open for a couple of hours.
Police said they will advise when the road is reopened and encourage drivers to seek alternative routes to avoid delays for the next several hours.
